Our Retentions Range is designed for clients coming to the end of their existing mortgage deal.
Options are available for residential (including those customers coming off First Time Buyer, Self-Build and Contractor/Self Employed deals) and buy-to-let (including Expat, Limited Company and our historic HMO products).
Retention Products are available direct and via brokers to existing SBS mortgage customers only on a like-for-like basis (e.g. no other changes such as term length or additional borrowing allowed).
Customer must be maturing out of a Saffron Building Society product within the next 90 days
Product Transfers do not require a valuation (unless the borrower disputes the indexed LTV) or legal work.
Applicants must be up to date with their existing Saffron Building Society mortgage
Minimum term 3 years
Residential retention products are not available if the property is being let
BTL retention products are not available in the property is being occupied by the borrower with consent
Interest only or repayment
Interest only to 70% max LTV for Residential and subject to an acceptable repayment strategy

Maximum loan size £3,000,000
